Today we hear or read about Global Warming or Climate Change as one of the biggest threats to human kind. While these terms are often user interchangeably they have some similarities and differences.
While Climate Change is a know fact Gobal Warming was more of a theory which many Scientists believe in quite strongly now as a problem. Climate Change has been happening since the beginning. It involves increasing or decreasing of temperatures or precipitation or change in other climate patterns. It could be something local to a region or could be affecting the whole planet. Global Warming as the term implies is the increasing of temperatures across the globe.

Few years back scientists across the world made a startling discovery. As they went on trying to understand the recent climate change activities and making future research they tumbled on to a fact that went on to change all the previous assumptions and presumptions about Global Warming. They called this effect 'Global Dimming'.
Earth's evaporation rate has come down significantly in the last 50 years or so. This means that less water is being evaporated in earth's atmosphere than it used to 10 or 20 years back. Evaporation in ts fundamental is directly related to sun heat and light falling on earth. An area more exposed to sunlight and heat have a higher evaporation rate than the ones covered. So as we see a drop in the averagae rate of evaporation it signifies that we are recieving lesser sunlight and heat on Earth. So question is are we feeling cold? Answer is 'No'.

"Carbon Trading" is still in its nascent phase, but the kind of growth this market is experiencing is tremendous and that is what makes it so exciting to talk about.Apart from the fact that "Carbon" will become the single most biggest commodity ever traded, another aspect of it which makes it important is the solution it offers to a common problem which we all have just started to realize and probably talk about more, "Global Warming" Problem: Carbon emissions into the earth's atmosphere have resulted in drastic climatic changes. Though, we have both, firm believers who blame Industries outright for polluting the atmosphere resulting in some of natures shocking disasters and some, who believe it's difficult to blame carbon emissions for these climatic changes as its hard to find a pattern over the past billion years or so, how climate has changed.

Following are the 6 GHGs idendified under the Kyoto Protocol: Carbon DioxideMethaneNitrous OxidePerfluorocarbonsHydroflurocarbonsSulphur Hexafluoride One Carbon Credit is equivalent to One tonne reduction of Carbon Dioxide from the atmosphere. All the GHGs have a Global Warming Potential associated with them eg. Carbon Dioxide has a GWP of 1 and therefore all GHGs have different values in terms of carbon credits hence, 1 tonne of Carbon Dioxide is equvalent to 1 carbon credit.

Developed World: As an obligation under the Kyoto protocol, companies should plan ahead and invest in potential CDM projects with high carbon returns. Planning well ahead will help companies to gain from Carbon emissions Reductions in the end rather than loosing money. Its a decision which companies have to take, as to whether they should invest in projects with high carbon returns and sell off the excess carbon credits generated or to buy additional certificates to meet their emission reduction commitments. If you plan to take the former approach, Carbonfreezone.com is the platform for you to search for viable CDM projects planned and executed across the world, based on your country, sector and other preferences. Due to high costs involved to companies in trading of carbon credits, CDM enables developed economies to meet their targets by purchasing Carbon credits from the developing nations; where the cost of executing such projects is lower.
