Tough weeks ahead for EUA prices, say analysts

European carbon prices could test 10-month lows and possibly fall as low as 11 euros a tonne in the next two weeks as European Union member states allocate their 2010 emissions permits to industry, analysts said. Firms regulated under the EU's Emissions Trading Scheme will receive over 1.8 billion tonnes of 2010 permits, or EU Allowances (EUAs), by Feb. 28. Today we hear or read about Global Warming or Climate Change as one of the biggest threats to human kind. While these terms are often user interchangeably they have some similarities and differences.

While Climate Change is a know fact Gobal Warming was more of a theory which many Scientists believe in quite strongly now as a problem. Climate Change has been happening since the beginning. It involves increasing or decreasing of temperatures or precipitation or change in other climate patterns. It could be something local to a region or could be affecting the whole planet. Global Warming as the term implies is the increasing of temperatures across the globe.
