DNA Section For Project Investors

In order to provide more in-depth and a wide range of information on CDM project hosting countries, we have a whole new section dedicated to DNAs.
Designated National Authorities (DNA) can share the information and activites happening in their own countries. Information provided would include :

  • Project investment opportunities and benefits.
  • Current projects being executed in the country.
  • Upcoming proposed projects.
  • Opportunities exisitng for project development citing various            sectors and impact.
  • Methodologies and practices followed.

If you are a Project Investor and would like see specific information on host countries which will help you decide which country to invest in, please let us know and we would incorporate it in this section.

If you are a Project Developer or a member of DNA and would like share specific information with Investors, please let us know.

Michael, you cannot become a DNA. DNA's are government bodies appointed for initial screening of CDM projects in any host country. CDM Projects need to be approved by local DNA's before they can be sent to UNFCC for accredation.

Dear Sir, In my country "DNA" is a bunch of Bureuacrat Team, which government designated, what can citizen do? for next UNFCCC discussion, can they mention to remove the slow, concrete DNA?

Dear Sir. Currently my department is acting as a temporary DNA. I have already got several people who want to make CDM project like Afforestration project. The only problem we are facing is capacity to approve a project and made permenent DNA. I send number of reguests to World Bank and Potugal Embassy. May get help on what sure I do to get elp.
